I quote:
"Singaporeans have good reason to feel upbeat as the economy takes off once again. Our Aberdeen Singapore Equity Fund goes from strength to strength too. Ranked first for ten-year performance by Lipper, it has returned 159% (compared with the benchmark STI's return of 96%). Put that down to our long-term investment approach in quality home-grown companies. Hats off indeed, Singapore."
Copy taken word-for-word from the ad, which makes very little sense to me. Sentences are awkward, with usage of prepositions like 'too' which allude to an ambiguous previously referred to subject. I'm no expert at copywriting, but from reader point of view, this ad sure needs some editing. What's the point of spending so much on display ads if the message isn't clear at all?
Sheesh.
