I want to adopt a horse! Hehe. But that aside...

Recently, the Noah's Ark facility in Johor was flooded due to the heavy rains. They really need help and money to repair the shelters for the animals. Please donate generously. Read the Facebook message below from a Noah's Ark volunteer:

Hi everyone,

We have received notification from Raymund that NANAS experienced bad flooding in the past few days due to the heavy rain. The sanctuary will be closed till further notice.

A lot of the animals have fallen sick suffering from respiratory or skin problem and there is a lack of holding area for them.

The sanctuary was also struck by lighting during the downpour and the main water pump has been damaged and a replacement is required.

The upside of the rain is that it is providing water for the animals else Raymund would need to get water from other places and bring it back to the sanctuary. We will keep everyone posted as and when we get news.

Yum yums! This weekend's specials at The Garden Slug are so totally my thing. :P (the mushroom risotto is to die for!)

He lives at the petshop next to The Garden Slug and entertained us thoroughly with his tricks, while we waited for our table! The first word he learnt to say was "food", which explains why he is so fat. Hahaha. He can also say his own name, Hello, and he can say half of "Merry Christmas" (just merry). Do go visit him, and drop by The Garden Slug for some nom noms afterwards. :P
